This privacy policy applies to the Field Stub app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices, created by Fogarty Holdings LLC (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a freemium service with an optional one-time in-app purchase. This service is intended for use "AS IS".
The Application is designed with privacy as its core principle. It does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information. Specifically:
All information generated by the Application — including clients, sites, assets, visits, parts, photos, voice recordings, transcripts, mileage, and notes — is stored exclusively on your device. Structured data is stored using Apple's SwiftData framework; photos and audio recordings are stored as files in the Application's local storage directory. This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to the Service Provider or any third party.
The Application does not use Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies to process your data or provide features. Voice transcription is performed on-device using Apple's Speech framework, as described below.
The Application can attach photos to your visits in two ways, both fully local to your device:
No photo, image metadata, or capture data is transmitted off your device. Photos remain on your device until you delete them or delete the Application.
The Application accesses your microphone only when you record a voice note during an active visit. Recorded audio files are saved to the Application's local storage directory on your device.
Voice transcription runs entirely on your device using Apple's Speech framework with on-device recognition strictly enforced. Audio is never uploaded to Apple's servers or any other server for transcription. If your device or language does not support on-device transcription, the Application records the audio without transcription rather than falling back to network recognition. Transcription uses your device's current language setting.
Both the audio recording and any resulting transcript are stored on your device. Neither is transmitted off your device.
The Application records your location at the start and end of each visit when you have granted "While Using" location permission. Location is captured as a single coordinate at each event — never continuously tracked, never in the background. Coordinates are stored on your device alongside the visit and are used to:
No location data is transmitted off your device. If you deny location permission, the Application continues to function without location features.
Your Field Stub data is protected by the following measures:
Because all data is stored locally on your device, the Service Provider has no ability to access, recover, or delete your Field Stub data. If you delete the Application, all data is permanently removed from your device.
Field Stub offers an optional one-time in-app purchase to unlock Pro features, including unlimited clients, PDF report export, and voice transcription. This purchase is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store using StoreKit 2.
The Application does not share any data with third parties. The only external service the Application communicates with is Apple's App Store, and only for the purpose of validating in-app purchases and entitlements as described above.
The Service Provider may disclose information only as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or similar legal process. However, as no user data is collected or stored by the Service Provider, there is no user data to disclose.
The Service Provider does not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13. The Application does not collect any personally identifiable information from any user, including children.

All data generated by the Application is stored locally on your device and is under your full control. The Service Provider does not retain any user data. To delete your data, simply delete the Application from your device. All clients, sites, visits, photos, audio recordings, transcripts, and other records will be permanently removed.
The Service Provider has designed the Application from the ground up with security as a core principle. All data is stored locally on your device. The Application makes no outbound network connections beyond the standard StoreKit transactions handled by Apple.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.
By using the Application, you are consenting to the processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by us.
