This privacy policy applies to the Digital Legacy Vault app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices, created by Sean Fogarty (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a paid service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".
The Application is designed with privacy as its core principle. It does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information. Specifically:
All information you enter into the Application — including emergency contacts, final wishes, and document locations — is stored exclusively on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework with iOS Complete File Protection encryption. This data never leaves your device.
The Application does not use Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies to process your data or provide features.

Because all data is stored locally on your device, the Service Provider has no ability to access, recover, or delete your vault data. If you delete the Application, all data is permanently removed from your device.
The Application does not share any data with third parties. No data is transmitted to external services, analytics platforms, advertising networks, or any other third party for any reason.
The Service Provider may disclose information only as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or similar legal process. However, as no user data is collected or stored by the Service Provider, there is no data to disclose.
The Service Provider does not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13. The Application does not collect any personally identifiable information from any user, including children.

All data entered into the Application is stored locally on your device and is under your full control. The Service Provider does not retain any user data. To delete your data, simply delete the Application from your device. All vault data will be permanently removed.
The Service Provider has designed the Application from the ground up with security as a core principle. All data is encrypted at rest, protected by biometric authentication, and excluded from cloud backup. The Application makes no network connections and has no ability to transmit your information to any external party.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.
By using the Application, you are consenting to the processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by us.
